As paradoxically as it may sound, this is the first post, out of many, where I will be reviewing minimalist products – products you can own, that helps you own less!
And the first product I want to tell you about is the Bodum Travel Press.
The Travel Press is the love child of a traditional French press coffee maker and a thermo travel cup. It is great because it can (if you want) allow you to throw out your coffee machine + other travel cups, and thereby downsize to just owning this single item.
It also has the extra benefit of being a coffee maker on the go, which enables you to make great coffee anywhere you want. This means, you can make the same coffee whether you are at home, in a hotel room, on an air plane or even at a Starbucks, if you dare asking for some boiling water 🙂
I mostly use mine to make coffee at work, in the office, because the coffee I get there is the worst!
Bottom line is: this cup makes cheaper and better coffee, compared to what you get most places.
It’s great, and because of it, my girlfriend and I have been able to get rid of all the other coffee gear we used to own, and thereby gotten a lot more mobile and “small”. I think that a product that does exactly this, is a true minimalist product.
I give it a thumbs up from here!
Thanks for reading.
