Quick and free proofreading with Google Translate

Okay guys, today’s post is going to be a quick one.

I’m going to show you, how I get all my proofreading done.

While I know I could pay a proofreading service to do it and to rewrite my essay, in a truly automatic fashion, it would get quite expensive in the long run, plus I do not feel like it is totally necessary to get a professional to do it.

So I do it myself – but quickly though.

I have also noticed about myself, that I am a much better listener than reader. So when I just get done writing a blog post, it can be difficult for me to read it again with a critical eye. Therefore, I listen to it.

I copy my written text and paste it in to google translate:

And then, I click the little speaker icon, down in the right corner, and now Google will read it back to me.

I am so thankful to my friend and annotated bibliography maker for giving me this bit of advice. This makes it really easy for me to hear, if I have made any typos, bad wording and just my general voice when I write.

Try it out for yourself,  if you write on a regular basis, and listen better than you read.

Thanks for reading guys.
