    Looking into the mind of others, can change your outlook of what you would expect the world would be like. What i want to be is a forensics psychologists they get to look into people with different backgrounds and personalities. The people that they look at have different home lives and different friends and some of the people that they look at might go to private school or not went to a school at all or they might of went to a public school with a lot of donations or one with very little money for books. You can see into how they might be when they get older if they are children.
    Job Outlook
    Employment for psychologists was projected to grow to 19 percent from 2014 to 2024, much faster than other average from all the other occupations also the employment of clinical, counseling,and school psychologists was predicted to to be 20 percent from 2014 to 2024. There is a greater demand in psychological service in schools, hospitals, mental health center, and social service agencies should drive the growth of employment. The demand for clinical and counseling psychologists will increase as more people turn to psychologists for help with problems. Psychologists will also be needed to serve an aging population. Psychologists help people deal with the mental and physical changes that happen as they age. Psychologists are also needed for veterans suffering from war trauma, for survivors of other trauma, and for people that have autism. Industrial-organizational psychologists are expected to face competition for positions because of the greater number of qualified applicants. They also have to endure extensive training in quantitative research methods may have a competitive edge(OOH.) Psychologists have to have a knowledge of laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, government regulations, executive orders, agency rules, and the democratic political process(CCSP.)
    Important qualities. Psychologists need to have a masters degree for an entry level position and you would also need a license in psychology.A psychologist must have pre or post- doctoral supervised experience such as an internship. The license vary from state and position, most clinical and counseling psychologists has to have a doctoral degree in psychology and an internship with 1 to 2 years of supervised professional experience and to pass the examination for professional practice in psychology:
    (1) analytical skills; (2) communication skills; (3) observational skills; (4) patience; (5) people skills; (6) problem solving skills; and (7) trustworthiness (OOH).
    Analytical skills, psychologists must be able to reevaluate the information/data that they collect and draw logical conclusions from them. Communication skills, psychologists must have strong communication abilities because they have spent much of their time listening and speaking with patients. Observational skills psychologist have to study attitude and behavior, they must be able to watch people and understand the possible meanings of facial expressions body positions, actions, and interactions. Patience, psychologists must demonstrate patience,because conducting research or treating patience may take a long time. People skills, psychologists study and help people, they must be able to work well with clients, patients, and with other professionals. Problem solving skills, psychologists need problem solving skills to design research, test programs, and find treatment or solutions for mental and behavior problems. Trustworthiness, psychologist must keep their patients’ problems in confidence, and patients must be able to trust psychologists’ expertise in treating sensitive problems(OOH.)
    Work Environment/Schedules. 1 in 3 of the psychologists are self employed. Psychologists often set their own hours because they own a private practice, many of them work part time or as an independent consultant. Other psychologists work in outpatient clinics, hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, and community and mental health centers. Some psychologists even work som evenings and weekends to accommodate some of their clients schedule. They may also work in federal or state agencies, consulting firms, or private research organizations.
    To conclude, psychologists diagnose and treat mental disorders; learning disabilities; and cognitive, behavioral, and emotional problems, using individual, child, family, and group therapies. May design and implement behavior modification programs. Psychologists have to be really good at critical thinking and they must be speak clearly. They also have to have the ability to recognize the problem as well as the ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences(CCSP.)
